With deep respect and heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Terry "TC" Charles Jenkins, a devoted family man and lifelong truck driver, who left us on June 9, 2026. Born on October 27, 1949, in Houston, Texas, Terry lived a life marked by unwavering dedication to his loved ones and a spirit of generosity few could match.
Terry’s career was defined by his love for the open road, driving 18-wheelers for many years. His passion extended beyond work, as he cherished the moments he shared with his children, often taking them along on rides, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Known for his loving nature, Terry always put family first and was willing to do anything to support and uplift those around him.
He is survived by his son, Terry Williams and daughters Terri Foote and Marianita Jenkins, along with his granddaughters and grandsons Francesca, Alana, Nyjah, Hannah, Abasi, TJ, and King. Terry’s siblings who grieve his loss include Cheryl Jenkins, Roselyn Avant, Charlotte Avant, James Avant, Carol Trice, and Tyrone Trice. He is also remembered fondly by his great-grandchildren, whose lives he touched so profoundly.
Terry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Gwendolyn Trice; his father, Cleveland Jenkins; and his dear wife, Sharon Jenkins, each having left a lasting legacy in his heart.
The family will receive visitors during a viewing on June 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grace Funeral Home, located at 4910 Willowbend Blvd Suite E, Houston, Texas 77035. Following the viewing, a funeral service to honor Terry's life will take place at the same location from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on June 19, 2026.
Terry's life was a testament to the strength of family bonds and the profound impact of kindness and dedication. He was a man who loved deeply, cared fiercely, and whose legacy will continue through the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May his memory be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
