Sir Jacques De'Le Dobbins "Jock"

Sir Jacques De'Le Dobbins, born on March 30, 1992, in Houston. Passed away on October 9, 2025.

Jock, as we lovingly called him, was a 33-year-old father, son, and brother. He was raised in Houston, alongside his siblings, and attended Elsik High School. From a young age, Jock was one of the most determined people I’ve ever known. He strived not only to be the best version of himself, but also to be a role model for his brothers and sisters.

Everything changed the day he became a father. From that moment on, his life had new purpose, every dream, every effort, every moment became about his son. He wanted nothing more than to give him the best life and example possible.

Jock had a way of lighting up a room with his smile. His presence carried a quiet but undeniable confidence. He was strong, courageous, hopeful, and full of greatness. That’s how we remember him, not just for what he did, but for who he was at his core. During his recent time, he showed great dedication and passion in working diligently to obtain his CDL and pursue his goal of becoming a truck driver.

Sir Jacques is survived by his cherished son, Elijah, he was deeply loved by his mother, Jamica Dobbins and his father Michael Mouton, and he shared a unique bond with his siblings: sisters Jasmine Cole and Brea Green, as well as brothers Fredrick Green, Chris Green, Ivy Hamilton, and Andre Jones. He is also survived by several siblings on his father's side with whom he shared family ties. The family also includes many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will miss him profoundly.

Sir Jacques's life was filled with laughter, kindness, and an enduring spirit that touched many. He leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever.

A visitation in honor of Sir Jacques will take place on October 25, 2025, starting at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Funeral Home, located at 4910 Willowbend Blvd, Ste E, Houston, Texas 77035. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location beginning at 12:00 p.m. and concluding at 1:15 p.m.

Sir Jacques is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Claudia Dobbins. Her memory lives on in the hearts of those she left behind, and now, Jock joins her in eternal rest.
