Patrick Jerome Dixon, III

Patrick Jerome Dixon, III, lovingly known as "Thump," was born on March 31, 2021, in Houston, Texas, and he graced this world with his bright presence until his untimely departure on June 14, 2025, at Texas Children's Hospital in Katy, Texas. In his brief four years, Patrick filled the lives of those around him with boundless energy and unwavering joy, creating cherished memories that will forever be held close to the hearts of his family.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Patrick knew him as a vibrant spirit. His laughter echoed through every room, and his happiness was as infectious as the characters he adored. Patrick was a devoted fan of "Scooby Doo". He also loved the character Bluey and the children's learning character Ms. Rachel. It was truly never a dull moment with Patrick, as he had a unique ability to light up any space he occupied with his joyful presence and energetic persona.

Penned memories from those who knew and loved him reflect the essence of his character - a lively child whose zest for life left an indelible mark on the soul of his family. He was always happy and found delight in the little things that made up each day. Patrick served as a reminder that life, despite its challenges, can be filled with wonder and joy.

Patrick is survived by his loving family, who will endure the heartache of his absence but will cherish the beautiful moments spent with him: his mother Tashavia Dixon, his father Patrick Jerome, Jr., his sisters Neveah Dixon, Jabri Dixon, Saniyah Dixon, and Jahlila Bell, as well as his brothers Kingston Harris and Zion Dixon. He will also be missed by his paternal grandparents, Patrick Jerome Dixon, Sr. and Michelle Stacey Williams, alongside his maternal grandparents, Carl Rideout and Barbara J. Rideout.

Though he joins his deceased maternal grandfather, Jessie Lee Harris, in eternal rest, the love Patrick embodied will continue to resonate within the hearts of those he left behind. His spirit will live on through the countless happy moments and memories that remain, reminding everyone of the joy he so freely shared.

To honor his brief yet profound journey, a memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, at Grace Funeral Home, 4910 Willowbend Blvd, Suite E, Houston, TX, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM on the same day. As family and friends gather to celebrate the remarkable spirit of Patrick Jerome Dixon, III, may they find solace in the love he gave so abundantly and the joy that his memory will forever bring.
