Norbert Escobar November 8,1959 – May 9, 2025
Norbert Escobar, a beloved son, brother, husband, and uncle, passed away on May 9, 2025. A proud Houston native and Furr High School graduate, Norbert was known for his sharp style, contagious laugh, and natural ability to light up any room. He built a career in the car and real estate industries and spent over 30 years opening his home — and his yard, complete with dogs and chickens he adored — to the family he loved.
He is survived by his wife Juanita (Janie) Luna, his brothers Arthur, Xavier (Jake), Norman, and Roland, and his former wife and lifelong friend Emily. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Mary Escobar, his sister Dana, and his cousin Bobby.
Norbert lived fearlessly, loved fully, and will be deeply missed.
