Monae was known for her radiant smile and outgoing nature. A deeply caring and hard-working mother, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children. Monae’s loving family includes her mother, Josephine Redard, and father, Kendrick Brooks, Sr., as well as her stepfather, Alvin Rainer. She was surrounded by her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Redard, and her stepfather, Ojaie Allen, among many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, inlcuding a family friend, Victor Jackson. Her best friends, Zoe Mumbach, Roshay Health, Auntae , who were constant companions and confidante, sharing countless memories and moments of joy. We extend our deepest gratitude to our dear cousins, Jerricka and Janell Rainer, for their extraordinary generosity in covering the funeral expenses.
