Mary Ann Milner

Mary Ann Milner, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was called home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2025, at her sister's house, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on July 2, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, and spent her life dedicated to God, her family, and her career. 

Mary graduated from Meadowdale High School in Dayton, Ohio in 1976. She then earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University in 1981. Furthering her education, she also received a Master's degree in Business Administration in 2009 from the University of Phoenix. Her educational pursuits laid a strong foundation for her professional career.

 Mary made Columbus, Ohio her home where she raised her children and became a member of First Church of God. She worked for Franklin County Job and Family Services for over 30 years, as a Case Manager, Supervisor and Trainer until her retirement in 2022. Her colleagues and clients alike admired her unwavering dedication and her sincere desire to assist those in need. 

A devout woman, Mary loved God profoundly and was known for her generous heart and caring nature. She would go out of her way to help anyone she could, she had a spirit of compassion and kindness. Mary touched and uplifted everyone she encountered. In 2023, she moved to Houston, Texas, where she continued to surround herself with family and friends and enjoy her retirement years.

 Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Jessica Milner; her sons, Justin and Jamaar Milner; her grandchildren, Amarion, Aaliyah, Mario, Jaxson, Mariah, Ayden, Marlee, and Jerzey; her sister, Dorcine Foster; and numerous nieces and nephews. As well as a host of caring family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, MA Foster and Annie Louise Foster; her sisters, Marilyn Gause and Brenda Foster; and her brother, Leon Foster. Each of them holds a special place in her heart, and their memories will continue to live on through the stories shared by her family. 

A memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on October 18, 2025, at Grace Funeral Home, 4910 Willowbend Blvd, Ste. E, Houston, Texas, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. As well as a Memorial Service at First Church of God, 3480 Refugee, Columbus, Ohio, on Thursday October 30, 2025 starting at 10 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable woman whose spirit touched many lives. Mary Milner will be profoundly missed, but her legacy of love, support, and faith will endure in the hearts of those who had the honor of knowing her.
