Joe Samuel Rodriguez passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 23. Born on July 15, 2003, Joe was a deeply loved young man whose presence left a lasting impression on the people around him.

Joe was the kind of person who won people over as soon as they met him. He was silly and warmhearted, and he brought joy to many through his loving nature and easy way with others. He was also responsible, hard-working, and a great provider. Joe enjoyed the outdoors and found happiness in fishing and bowling. He was known as someone who kept things clean and organized, carrying himself with a sense of order as well as devotion to his family.

Above all, Joe will be remembered for the love he shared with his family. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Valle, and by his son, Sebastian Rodriguez, who were at the center of his life. He is also survived by his parents, Jenny Peralta and Miguel Rodriguez; his brother, Miguel Rodriguez; his sisters, Marilyn and Victoria Rodriguez; and his maternal grandmother, Ondina Alvarenga. Each of them carries forward the memory of his affection and his humor.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Miguel Rodriguez.

Family and friends are invited to honor Joe’s life during visitation on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home, 201 Broadway St, Elsa, TX 78543. A prayer service will be held that same evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Eternal Light Funeral Home, followed by burial from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Park Cemetery, 12506 N Mile 2 W, Mercedes, TX 78570.

Joe Samuel Rodriguez will be remembered with deep love and gratitude. His kindness, laughter, strong work ethic, and the love he gave to his family will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Esa misma noche, de 7:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., se llevará a cabo un servicio de oración en la misma funeraria. Los servicios funerarios tendrán lugar el martes 20 de octubre de 2026, de 10:00 a. m. a 11:00 a. m., en la funeraria Eternal Light Funeral Home; a continuación, se llevará a cabo el sepelio de 11:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m. en el cementerio Sacred Park Cemetery, ubicado en 12506 N Mile 2 W, Mercedes, TX 78570.
